I provide in-person sessions in New York City and online therapy throughout New York State.
My approach is practical, hands-on, and client-centered, aiming to foster connection, growth, and resilience in the lives of those I work with.
I bring extensive experience from my time at the National Institutes of Health, Citibank, and Cognition Builders, where I provided real-time, immersive family support in high-stress environments, guiding families and individuals in communication, behavior management, and emotional regulation.

My Journey to Becoming a Therapist
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by both personal and professional experiences. Growing up, I had a close view of mental health’s impact—my mother is a therapist, and my brother faced his own mental health challenges. From an early age, I understood the power of relationships, empathy, and connection, which ultimately led me to pursue a career in this field.
After studying psychology at Emory University, I completed a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the Experimental Therapeutics Lab. Here, I contributed to groundbreaking research on treatments for treatment-resistant depression, including some of the earliest studies on ketamine. My experiences at NIH taught me the importance of evidence-based practice and the power of science to inform mental health treatment. I later earned a Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University, specializing in advanced clinical practice and completing intensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) under the founders of Behavioral Tech. I then worked with Citi’s Global Campus Team in HR, helping to reshape the company’s approach to employee well-being and retention.
Following my experience in HR & Finance, I joined Cognition Builders and the Hallowell Center, where I provided immersive, in-home support to families, including high-profile clients in high-stress environments as well as Adult ADHD treatment. Through this experience, I gained expertise in real-time behavior management, family systems work, and in-the-moment skills-building to foster lasting change.
